What I aspire to be; a leader that lifts others
What I am; team player, ambitious, open and honest, life-long learner, thorough
I have rich experience in technical project management, consultancy and system integrations.
Recently, my responsibilities grew towards managing development inquiries from customers and internal stakeholders. This is when I realized that I want to work with software development full-time.
For the last couple of months, I have invested my time into making this career change a reality.

Professional
End-user Focused
What makes up for great user experience is to get ahead of users in deliverables and incidents, showing that we are on top of things.
To achieve this, I make sure to have a solid understanding of end-users; their pains, and how we can make their life easier by delivering end-user aware software.
Problem-solving
I like challenges, and therefore also problem-solving. This is something that always has come easy to me and my career has involved a lot of problem-solving.
I use it as a tool to accelerate learning, which has been especially useful when learning software development.
While this is a part of every job, my interest very much lies in preventing problems in the first place.
Defining Requirements
When implementing enterprise software into organizations with varying needs, defining their goals and requirements is key to success.
Just as important, is defining what is out of scope, in order to prevent (too much) scope creep.
I have worked closely together with a software development team and have been responsible for defining and reproducing user stories and bugs respectively, with acceptance test cases and reproducible steps.
With several years of experience in this area, I feel at home managing requirements from different stakeholders.
Communication
I have experience with managing projects with stakeholders from several different business areas who have had varying levels of technical knowledge.
While technical forums are where I feel at home, I have grown custom to adjusting the level of technical terms in discussions as needed.
Quality Assurement
As Integration Manager, my department was responsible for both acceptance testing and rolling out new releases of the software to medium-large customers.

Personal Portfolio Website
The website you are currently on. I've built it with modern development tools such as gatsbyjs, react hooks, and parts of bootstrap 5 (grid & reboot). I prototyped and created assets in Adobe XD, before starting development and i've used mobile-first design & implementation throughout the process.

Epic React
Online Course
Epic React is an intermediate- to advanced course in React and front end development. React fundamentals, advanced component and hook patterns, and even unit/integration/e2e testing is a small part of what you learn in the course. After completing it, I feel incredibly confident and empowered in my React abilities. Knowledge of when to use which tool at my disposal allows me to create performant and scalable applications.

freeCodeCamp - Front End Libraries
Online Course
The 300-hour course contains hands-on exercises for learning front-end libraries, such as Bootstrap, SCSS, jQuery, React, and Redux. When introducing each technology you code in an online IDE and have to complete automated tests to go through each section in the course. Finishing up you have to create 5 different pet projects in a development environment of your own choosing and use their testing library in order to verify the functionality of the application. Upon completion, you receive a certification (see links below).
